Conclusion

Our participation with The Society of Wilderness has had a significant impact on us. Since we began researching and studying this organization, we would rate our overall understanding as an 8 out of 10. We discovered that its 12 offices each use unique methods to protect the environment and actively engage in discussions when different perspectives arise. This collaborative approach has helped us develop the ability to consider multiple viewpoints and solutions. Rather than immediately choosing a single solution, we have learned the importance of discussion. Through conversation, we can better understand each option’s strengths and weaknesses, ultimately leading to more effective problem-solving.

While we have gained a solid understanding, there are still specific aspects we would like to explore further. These include more detailed insights into The Society of Wilderness’s religious and cultural beliefs, as well as the impact of its collaborations with local communities and international partners. By continuing our research, we hope to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the organization’s role in global environmental conservation and its influence in Taiwan.
